Biography
Jason Shields is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Interior Design at the University of Manitoba. Jason’s work primarily explores the relationship between architecture, technology, and the built environment. Current research examines the role of Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and AI-generated virtual environments in interior design. Jason recently received the peer-reviewed Innovative Teaching Idea Award from the Interior Design Educators Council in 2020, 2021, 2023.
